After that Ponting and Haddin carried the Australia team Innings both the players took the Australia team score up to 100 runs. The wicket keeper Haddin looked in classic form and stroked a brilliant half century for the Australia team. It was Yuvraj Singh who took the wicket of Haddin and breaks the hopes of Australia. Both the openers provide team India a study start as they added 44 runs for the 1st wicket. Sehwag was got out after scoring 15 runs in 22 balls. After that Tendulkar carried his good form along with Gautam Gambhir. Both the players utilize the power play condition and scored some quick runs. Tendulkar looked in classic touch and stroked another half century for team India. The Australia team needs quick wickets and it was Tait who took the wicket of Tendulkar and breaks the momentum of team India. After the wicket of Tendulkar Gambhir and Kohli tried hard but Kohli was got out after scoring 24 runs in 33 balls. Both the batsmen were remain unbeaten the team India finally won the match by 5 wickets and seal their place into the semi final of World Cup 2011.
