The New Zealand team in form batsman Ross Taylor believes New Zealand team will do better in the Semi Final against Sri Lanka on Tuesday. The New Zealand team makes one of biggest upset after beating the South Africa and makes their way into the Semi Final of Cricket World Cup 2011. The New Zealand team had reached into the Semi Final at six times but failed to get one step ahead into the finals. The New Zealand team Ross Taylor said “We are proud of our history of making it to the semi-finals,” the 27-year-old said Sunday. But this team wants to make history and go one step further and make the final. We believe we can do that and we want to show it on Tuesday.”

The middle-order batsman said New Zealand have learnt their lessons from a 112-run drubbing at the hands of Sri Lanka in the group stages.

“Obviously it’s sudden death, we are taking lot of confidence from our last game against South africa,” said Taylor of the upset 49-run win over Proteas on Friday in the quarter-finals.
