
The big suspense over classic leg spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is over the magical spinner is fit to play his last ODI match the big Semi Final of Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. It will be his last performance in front of his home crowd in Sri Lanka. The 38 years Old Sri lanka spinner has the most wickets in One Day Cricket as he got 532 wickets in his bag. Muralidahran hurt his hamstring in the group match victory over New Zealand and then suffered a knee problem.
Murali who will retire after the Cricket World Cup was doubtful for the big Semi Final match against New Zealand but after the final test the off spinner was declared fit to play the match. Muralitharan said he won’t feel any pressure from his last home game.
“Playing your last match in your country is emotional. When I played my last Test and took eight wickets it was very emotional,” said Muralitharan of his last Test against India in 2010. It will be proud moment for the Sri Lanka team as they got such a great icon of Cricket World in their team. If the Sri Lanka team wins the Semi Final the spinner will play his last ODI match on April 2 at Mumbai. Murali had a dream run in the international Cricket World.
